Avril A feature-length semi-observational documentary about Armand Avril, a 98 years old artist from Cotignac, France. Since the 1960’s Armand Avril has created mixed media sculptural montage works, paintings and sketches inspired by his travels in Africa, Indonesia, North America, as well as French culture and his personal life and affairs. The film is an examination of his life, his friends and his village. Shot & edited by just Josie Cronk and me, in the spring of 2021.
